We are inviting everyone with an interest for great food to celebrate the first anniversary of Friends of Thandolwethu NPO with an unforgettable gastronomic experience in the charming setting of Josephine Mill, on the banks of the Liesbeek river.

Drawing from Italian tradition and focusing on seasonal, fresh and natural ingredients, Chef Lapo Magni designed for this solidarity lunch a sustainable and ethical six courses menu that will delight even the most exigent gourmet.

The Consul of Italy in Cape Town, Emanuele Pollio, will take part in the celebration, reinforcing once again the connection between the Italian community and the initiative of a Reggio inspired Early Childhood Development centre in Samora Machel, Philippi.

The cost of R690 per person includes a welcome drink.

All proceeds will go to Friends of Thandolwethu NPO and will be used to support training and studies, build the centre, ensure quality educational activities, promote and disseminate educational practices inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogic approach.
